About us.

Changing the world with film.

The Global Film Fund was founded in 2015 by Leo, Cheryl and Frederic with a simple and bold mission in mind: Discover filmmakers with powerful stories that could change the world and support them financially and logistically.

“We don’t make movies to make money, we make money to make more movies” - Walt Disney

Since its founding, films supported by the Global Film Fund have already made a measurable impact in global health with Someone You Love: The HPV Epidemic and Lady Ganga: Nilza's Story.

“We love stories and the filmmakers that tell them.”

- Cheryl Staurulakis
